Runs in the family
Nils playing on a violin for the first time.
We purchased this violin in Cuba. At the factory at first there was nobodythere but as soon as they spotted customers, everyone in the surrounding village seem to be working in this factory and tried to sell us their goods (or should I say bads...)

European tractor pulling
Yesterday we (Nils, Niall and I) went to Rotterdam to visit the eurpean 30th tractor pulling event. Traditionally we visit the regionally tractor pulling in Almkerk but that is only in the summer. This time as a present for Niall's birthday on monday we went to see this big tractor pulling event. It was noisy but luckily we had our ear protection with us.
Unfortunately, Niall felt a bit ill so went back home earlier.

Sunday morning swimming
After breakfast we went to the swimming pool and had a great time swimming.
Especially Wende loved the baby slide.
Nils loves the bigger slide. Also Nils loves to jump in the water and dad catching him.
