Today we celebrated Nils's birthday with the family and friends. Lisette's parents were here, my dad was here, all the way from Hulst by bus! Peter and Mellanie and their kids Duncan and Jason were here as well. Unfortunately lisette's brother couldn't come and our dear friends from Duiven were not able to visit us today.. Our best wishes to Leonie, hope you get well soon! Granddad from Hulst gave, together with aunty Maaike and jaap, a great Playmobil dragon complete with red light in his nose. Grand ma and grandpa from De Lier gave Nils a new rucksack for school with a small light attached and a hotwheels track with a dinosaur. From Peter and Mellanie Nils received a Lego kit and a Toystory pen. For dinner mamma made several quiches and dad made dukkah with feta cheese filled yoghurt treat. Just wish my mom could have been here with us as well..

Summerholiday 2010
Our new garage is almost finished, the only thing that is left is some isolation inside and lighting in the neighbour's part.. But first I had to clear the temporarely tent in the garden.
These two guy's appeared every evening in their underwear to do the dishes..??? Did not took long for me to guess why they dressed like that..
Nice sundown at the Pyrenees
A great view from the hill's near Coullioure
Cork trees southern France
We never book a campsite so we called a couple of them for our second part of the holiday and found out all where fully booked but one who had one space left. And just before we arrived, our car broke down leaving us with a top speed of 50 km/hour... The space was still vacant and we took it.. what choice did we have..?? The car was picked up the next for repairs and luckily the campsite turned out to be a very nice one with only a couple of other fellow dutch countrymen..

It was good to see them again although it was only for a day.
