This friday dad took a day off and went to the boat to do some serious cleaning, puttng up the sails and service to the engine. He came home again in the afternoon after a hard days work and with a sunburn on his back.. Should have kept my shirt on.. On saturday we went to the harbour and sailed out onto the volkerak. The sailing went well and there was enough wind fort the Genua alone. We had two kids and a baby to take care of so no difficult sail settings or reefs were placed. On the way back into port just before the lock, the engine gave up and it seemed the fuel pump did not let any fuel through to the filter.. Luckiily there was a motorcruiser passing by and after some waving and shouting they got the message dad we needed some serious help.. They towed us through the lock and a speedboat took over from there to tow us in to our birth in the harbour.. Dad has got some serious repairs to do coming week.. On sunday we had Tamara and Marius with their son Desmond visiting us. They came over during their holidays on a campsite in Holland to have a look at Ingmar and it has been a long time since we've seen eachother. Desmond is a lively one, hopping around and checking out all the toys. It was nice seeing them again.
