weekend at Nederhemert

Yesterday we went toWaalwijk to do some shopping and bought Nils new sport shoes and a new T-shirt. As usual the weather was not too good so most of the time the kids stayed inside either colouring or spending time at dad's old laptop.

Sunday was much better, dad first had to drive to the boat to do some repairing and finished earlier than expected. So after arriving home again, Lisette had the idea of going to the playground in Nederhemert zuid. As you can see we had a great time, Nils's friend from down the road joined us as well so dad "had" to get there on his bike.. The speedometer was fixed so dad could see how fast he was going again. Although we had a few drops of rain, we stayed clear from anything worse and at the end of the day we even had a flair of sun shining in the house while we had dinner.

A slow weekend

The weather was not very good so the video camera wasn't used very often this weekend and the same for the photo camera.

Friday afternoon Wende had her first swimming lesson in the next swimming group (she was promoted to "kikkertje 4" last week. It was also possible for parents to join their kids swimming so Nils volunteered to mind Ingmar and dad joined Wende during her swimming lesson.

Saturday morning no hockey this time, instead dad helped out a family who is moving to a new home after dad had his hair cut at the hair dressers.. (finally) Washing machines, fridges loads of boxes were moved in 3 cars and a trailer.. A lot was done and it is great to help someone in need.

Lisette was buysy with the kids in the garden and as soon as dad finished, he joined mom in the garden until it started raining (again).

Dad also screwed a ladder together for the kids to be able to climbe up in the poleshed safely.

Sunday morning dad went swimming with Nils and Wende and mom put Ingmar in the bathtub. Nils was invited to play at a friends house in the afternoon and Wende joined him as they had another son who shares the same class as Wende.

In the mean time mom and dad scouted for possible party locations for our 12,5 wedding anniversary but we did not find anything we liked yet..

Upload problems..

Finally managed to upload pictures again to the weblog with Lisette's laptop.. It seems my laptop in some odd way just refuses to upload data to the internet.. A new laptop might solve that problem I guess..

Below some pictures of Lisette's parents celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary at the "tuinderij" in De Lier. I also had to tour for 3 weeks with a couple of people from work through Belgium and The Netherlands giving presentations to customers on machine safety which was really a fun thing to do, especially with the positive reactions from customers and colleuages.

Saturday we went to Tilburg to a place called the oliemeulen where they keep lizzards snakes, spiders, crocodiles and even birds of prey.. We all had snakes around our necks and big spiders on our hands except for Ingmar who found it a little to scary.. The next day we went to see grandpa and grandma in De Lier where we had lunch together and we had a great afternoon in the playground.

Ofcourse easter came around and the easter bunny hidd some eggs in our garden which the kids were able to find in a new record time. See the video here.
